Raila Was Duped A senior Government official Now reveals

Duale made these claims in a statement issued on September 7, claiming that Uhuru deceived the ODM party leader into assuming that he would deliver votes from the Mt. Kenya region utilizing state infrastructure. Duale stated that it is "baffling that Uhuru deceived Raila into believing that he would deliver Mt. Kenya votes and would use the deep state to reverse the verdict of the people." The Member of Parliament for Garissa Town delivered their speech after President Uhuru Kenyatta presided over a meeting of the Parliamentary Group of the Azimio La Umoja Coalition at Maasai Lodge.

Uhuru stated in his speech that he would hand over power to a joyous man, but he emphasized that Odinga would remain his leader.

Duale, on the other hand, lambasted President Uhuru for referring to Raila as his leader, suggesting that the leaving head of state is attempting to massage his ego to maintain hopeless optimism. Raila was referred to as "his leader" by Duale.

"It's perplexing that, in order to appease his ego and retain forlorn hope, he now refers to the guy who has been failed five times in a row as his leader."

Duale stated, in a veiled swipe at the incoming head of state, that it is apparent that President Uhuru is mourning from a devastating loss and is living in denial by designating Odinga to be his leader. He made this comment in the midst of an attack on the departing president.

"It is clear that the leaving president is still reeling from the awful loss, and he is living in denial about it; since he insists that Tinga is their leader, it is clear that he has failed to move on and is obsessed on the past rather than the future."

Furthermore, the member said that Uhuru paid Raila in 2018 after the two staged a phony swearing-in ceremony at Uhuru Park and then boycotted the upcoming elections.

He said that Odinga had participated in subversive activities and that there was no reason for him to join the administration in its present shape.

"In 2018, he paid Tinga, who committed treason by swearing himself in to join his cabinet and elbowing out a duly elected Deputy President to do so." He cooperated with and slept with the opposition leader in 2022, and as a consequence, he was severely crushed by Kenyans and forced to join opposition.

Duale further said that Kenyans took a choice that was validated, certified, and legitimized by Independent Institutions. He went on to say that the Kenyan people made this decision. He also warned Odinga that there would be no sham or ceremonial swearing under Ruto's administration. "We would like to use this opportunity to inform him that the new government will not tolerate any kind of mimic swearing," he said, accusing President Uhuru, who is also the Chairman of the Azimio Council, of attempting to instill hope in Raila by portraying himself in a manner akin to the people's President. "The politics of dishonesty have been completely eradicated from Kenya, and the country has been uprooted." The departing president, who is the face of Azimio's façade, is attempting to give the defeated opposition leader the appearance of leadership comparable to that of the people's President, an attempt that is doomed to fail.
